Jim Lamb, Chief Financial Officer

Jim Lamb joined AK Child & Family as Finance Director in October 2019 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, annual budget preparation, and monthly financial reporting, as well as managing all day-to-day financial operations.

In addition to finance, Jim oversees the Information Technology Department, Revenue Cycle operations, Health Records Department, Utilization Management, Maintenance, and Purchasing.

Jim began his career in banking as a real estate loan officer and commercial lending officer. Before joining AK Child & Family, he spent 30 years as a healthcare executive, working across for-profit healthcare, Tribal healthcare, and nonprofit healthcare.

Jim is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Alaska Behavioral Health Association, advocating for policies and initiatives that support behavioral health services across the state.
